Mission: Transforming minds to imagine the impossible
MAGIC’s goal is to help our young boys to imagine the impossible. Too often, our children box in their minds that the best way to succeed is through sports and entertainment. Although those may be viable ways, there are many other career paths worth exploring or at least knowing about that can take them to places they never even dreamed of. MAGIC is more than just a tutoring service. MAGIC is more than just a social group. MAGIC wants to unlock the minds of students so that they can imagine the impossible.
Primarily serving the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, our organization provides boys with an environment where they can excel academically & athletically through positive interactions with mentors who provide insight on how to be successful in the classroom, on the court, and on the field!
MAGIC host monthly speed, agility, and strength training, but we also have tutoring sessions in math and science to assist students in pursuing academic excellence. Additionally, the students are exposed to life lectures where speakers will come and discuss a variety of topics such as: how to dress for success, career opportunities in engineering/science, and proper communication skills. MAGIC provides resources for parents that encourage the development and growth of their children.
MAGIC also teams up with several universities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, as well as national organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers and the National Black M.B.A. Association to expose students to regional and national events involving math, science, and business.
